Live Different

"Don't live comfortably, live faithfully. Don't be who you've always been. You are called to be different."

You have to fight

Your feelings won’t fight fair

But even your feelings must you submit to the Father

You must have control over your feelings and your actions

You may feel one way

But, if it’s not in line with the Father’s word, it’s something you must root out

You are called to be different

What area are you struggling in

What have you overlooked

Where is the plank in your own eye

Do you come before Him humbly or in pride

Do you not know that it is a gift you are alive

And the gift of grace that allows us to be saved

Yet, we are called to be different

Made to be set apart

He chose you

You may have thought you chose first

He knew you before you were in your mother’s womb

He knows who you are

What you’ve done

And what He wants to do through you

You are called to be different

Don’t hope in yourself

Stand on His word

Do the hard things

Change is hard

It’s not comfortable

But comfort will bring you to your grave, leaving a surrendered life to the Father behind

Don’t live comfortably, live faithfully

Don’t be who you’ve always been

You are called to be different

One day at a time, and then one day it will be who you are all the time

He sees you

He sees the struggle

He knows what will allow you to break through

Will you trust Him in the process

And stop freaking out because you don’t know

You’re not supposed to know the details

You’re to know the One who holds the plan

You are called to be different

Do you know Him

His character, His love

Do you spend time with Him

Or is He someone you speak to in passing

A prayer here and there when help you need

Or is He your daily source

Your main resource

You are called to be different

Don’t hope in yourself

You’ll never be enough

And you don’t have to be

You do have to try

With everything that is within you

Give up the flesh

Walk in the spirit

Choose the path of life

Accept hard truths

You are called to be different

Let go of ways that feel good that the Father has said are wrong

He is wiser than you

He’s trying to save you from a path that is harder than it needs to be

You are called to be different

Don’t be unequally yoked

Don’t be intimate outside of marriage

Don’t be gluttonous

Don’t be unforgiving

For all don’ts there are plenty of dos

Do be equally yoked

Do get married young and be intimate in marriage

Do eat of all YHWH provided, within His guidelines

Do forgive

You are called to be different

He laid out His laws for a reason

He cares, more than you’ll ever know

HE IS SOVEREIGN

No matter how you feel about it

You are called to be different

Our merciful Father has made a way for you to come to Him, despite your wrongs

For we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory

His son died for you – with all your muck and filth, with all you’ve done and yet to do

He forgives you

You must repent and believe, and be baptised

You must forgive

You can be set free

It starts with surrendering your all at His feet

Yahshua can set you free

You can live different
