Washed Clean

"Thank you for the waters that washed me clean. The blood that covers me."

I was baptised today...

And now I wander out into the great unknown

I know You walk with me

You will guide me and show me more of Your truth

Thank you for the waters that washed me clean

The blood that covers me

And the eyes you’ve given to see

To see the truth, to show me Your way

Your wisdom will guide me every day

You have a plan

On that I will stand

My life is in the hands of the Maker of heaven and earth

And to You do I bow, to You I will stay true

As the boat rocks and the waves seem larger than life, help me to trust the One who calms every sea

You will be with me in every storm and every tide

Guide my life to stay on Your shores

Guide me to remain in You, whether on land or at sea

I know no matter what, You are with me

Thank you for Your presence, thank you for Your peace

Thank you for Your word and Your feasts

Thank you for the sacrifice of Your son and for belief

This surely is a walk

With new mercies every day

Please continue to guide me daily in Your way

I never walk alone

Not forgotten

Nor afraid

Your love conquers all

In Your presence, may I remain

And may daily I change

And never stay the same

But on my knees daily to pray

And may I always and forever give glory to Your name
